This time the tuner is aiming to open on Broadway in fall 2015, following a spring engagement in Chicago. An equity casting notice reveals that Simon Phillips is on board to direct the tuner, which has music and lyrics by Motown’s Brian Holland, Lamont Dozier and Eddie Holland, along with a book by Linda Bloodworth Thomason and Rupert Holmes. BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — Volunteers Improving Neighborhood Environments started a farm stand on the corner of Tudor and Susquehanna in Downtown Binghamton. The stand is open every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. At the stand, customers can purchase peppers, tomatoes and other types of produce. “Also this year is a little different,” Rittenburg said. “So it’s a lot of sanitation and food safety for harvest and for selling.” VINES is selling items grown at the Urban Farm just down the street.
Florida’s average gasoline price has dropped making it the leading state for affordable gas. Gas prices are down to 22 cents a gallon, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA). Florida drivers are now paying on average, $2.57 per gallon.The AAA says the decreased price in gas stems from the drop in prices of crude and wholesale gasoline. As of Monday, Florida gas prices averaged $2.56. The U.S. average was $2.81.
